{"id":856,"date":"2023-03-03T13:45:52","date_gmt":"2023-03-03T18:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sitetl.syr.edu\/?page_id=856"},"modified":"2026-04-13T13:31:33","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T18:31:33","slug":"welcome-to-sitetl","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sitetl.syr.edu\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to SITETL!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summer Institute for Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2026, <a href=\"http:\/\/ols.syr.edu\">Online Learning Services<\/a> (OLS) and <a href=\"http:\/\/its.syr.edu\">ITS<\/a> are expanding their tradition of summer professional development for faculty with two events designed to help you incorporate instructional technologies in your teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SITETL 2026 Summer Workshop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>June 1\u20135 | 9:00 AM \u2013 4:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SITETL continues to draw participants from across Syracuse University, bringing them together for an intensive engagement with a small group of peers to focus on enhancing teaching practices with technology. The week-long workshop is facilitated by OLS Instructional Technology Analysts and includes presentations, group and panel discussions, and hands-on practice. Participants leave the workshop with mastery over many of the software products licensed campus-wide for teaching and learning, and a keen sense of how to best incorporate these tools in their courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected participants will receive priority assistance from OLS, development spaces in the Blackboard system to work on their Ultra content, and a monetary award for completing all workshop sessions. There are a limited number of seats. Over 200 faculty members have attended this event, which focuses on improving teaching and learning through the intentional and judicious use of technology.
